School and Group Visits

If you would like to schedule a school visit for September 2013, please make a reservation beginning June 1 by calling Ann Judd at 266-6047. Dates fill up quickly.

Guided visits for schools and groups are by reservation only and scheduled during September, when butterfly activity (particularly Monarchs) is at its peak. Groups are booked midweek mornings at 10:30 AM or afternoons at 1:00 PM. Teachers who have hatched butterflies in the classroom can bring them to the garden to release. Students are divided into small groups and escorted through the garden by Master Gardener Docents.
